Shadow 6ks are one of my favorite sneaker models. These Feature X Saucony Shadow 6000 Living Fossil are inspired by Shonosaurus fossils.
The shoes come with extra lace choices, and special branding and graphics on the box, tongue tag and insole.
Green based kicks for me have always been fairly challenging to form into an outfit. I believe dark or black denim can work well with these. Basically any black or grey outfit should complement the black areas on the shoe enough to form a halfway decent look. I would be careful adding any more green to your outfit though, as there are already multiple green shades on the shoe.
I might go out and buy Yeezys, Jordans and Asics, but I can’t forget about Saucony. One of the best value-driven brands out there, Saucony definitely brings it with affordable yet very good quality collabs and even general releases. We definitely will not see a shoe exactly like this one again!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are great! The darkest bits of green are an extremely smooth nubuck type of material. The bulk of the shoe is a thick suede which is somewhat buttery and feels premium. The shoe also features a crackled “skin” area and some shiny areas on the S logo and rear of the shoe which are neat touches. Finally the toebox and tongue are a shiny nylon type material. The only downside here is the material used on the toebox seems to be creasing fairly easily; something to be aware of if that bothers you.
How Do They Fit?
The Feature X Saucony Shadow 6000 Living Fossil fit true to size. I find these to be quite comfortable, and maybe just a bit roomier than other 6Ks I own. This may be due to the stiffer tongue and toebox material. The shape on these is overall great on foot, I did reshape my pair for an extra bit of slope.
